This is for my son, 16 years old today.

This is also the first animated video creation I did. Must say it has quite a number of flaws.

I wasn't good in doing it, not knowing the "how-to" well.

I used Chatgpt to create caricature picture of him (although some parts got a bit different somehow ... )

Then do different still images I can imagine for the song.

Then used Grok to turn the still images to 6-second video.

Then used Capcut to organize and join them together.

The song was created using paid version of Suno, so that the music can be shared with less restrictions on Youtube.

Chatgpt and Grok can be free to use.

Capcut also not required to use Pro version to do the video.

If you are willing to pay, I guess it can be done a lot easier.

Anyway, here it is:

有个声音

In Sept-Oct 2022,  I was bathing and anyhow hum a tune.

I liked what I was humming, and after my bath, I quickly recorded it down into my phone via whistling.

Then I started thinking what words can fit into the humming, and I somehow put some words into it, and recorded my own very unpolish singing version into whatsapp to myself. 

I then shared with Karinna and said: "This is my song!!" LOL

Fast-forward to Jun 2024, I uploaded the tune to Suno.com hoping to make the tune smoother etc.

Then voila, started creating different versions of the song itself. 

Was a very fun play from then till now.

Make the song longer, extend with different lyrics etc. Sometimes try different genre.

In a way, this tune is my baby. 😉

After numerous different version, this particular is solely with the tune and lyrics originally created.

And the AI tool helped to tweak a bit, and I am quite satisfied with it.

So here it is, hope you enjoy this as much as I do:

Original words were written at 1 year anniversary after Tiananmen Square incident.
It was quite unpolished. Chatgpt amended beautifully for me.

First Song

This song created after quite a few generations with the AI tool.

I am happy with it.

The lyrics were written in 1994. 30 over years.

Passed to chatgpt for its comments. 

It didn't change anything for me.

So passed to Suno, and eventually happy with this version.

Along the way, added the last verse to make it more complete.

So voila!

It's been a long time since I last posted.

Mainly due to laziness I guess. Whatever.

Anyway, recently I got into creating AI music again.

It's been so fun, not sure how long it will last.

Due to certain reason, I got into paid version of Suno.com, the platform that I was using. This paid version says I can share the music publicly. Free version is mainly private use, and within their platform.

Well, I paid to use it, so I used a little extensively lately.

I can't compose music, so this part is out.

I can write a bit of rubbish, and pass it off as lyrics, I would like to think of it that way.

So I dig out some of the things I wrote when I was much younger, probably 30+ years ago.

And voila! The songs came out. If not nice, I just regenerate according to the style I want. Just to find the right one, at least to me.

And because of this sharing idea, I created my YouTube channel. 

You need to request permission, and once granted that permission, you are ready to have your own channel. Just simple process.

So I used ChatGPT's help to work on designs and such, and here it is, my channel:

With the songs created, I went on to see how to create music video.

I don't intend to make it complicated. Simple images would be enough for me.

Again, with the help of AI tools, I chose those that I like to go with the songs.

Using other AI tools, help to edit the video with the song in it, embed with images, and putting the lyrics in there.

Kinda tedious initially, trying to get the hang of it.

Overall, happy with some progress. Still a long way to improve... lol

So here's the first song uploaded 2 days ago:

你一定知道，and an instrumental piece 有个声音（音乐版） yesterday.

I guess it will be mainly Chinese songs, but occasionally might have English ones. 

Not sure. 

Who knows? It might just stop having new posts anytime too ... 😏
