Office Visitor

Last Wednesday, it's the Mid-Autumn Festival.

In the morning, was planning to drive to the chinese physician who helped us to slowly 'derive' Zyan, and to pass him some home-made moon cakes.
Just so happened that his shop was not opened.

So drove to office with Karinna and Zyan.
Karinna was tired the previous night, after staying up till quite late to finish up the moon cakes. She made quite a few boxes then.
So we added another box of moon cakes for my office. :P

It's the first time little Zyan goes to my office.

Not many people were in office then.
Iris, Robin, Naval, Derrick, and Lai were there.

Babies will definitely become the centre of attraction.
So Zyan enjoyed his 5 minutes of fame at that time.

The few pictures taken in office with the colleagues.

The visitor wasn't there for long. Just a while, and he needed to be back home for his morning nap.
So it's bye bye till his next visit.

Shaolin Zyan

It's a tradition that babies have their hair cut during their first month.
Our Zyan didn't really have a full hair cut at that time.
We just did sort of customary cut just to symbolise the hair cut thingy.
He didn't have much hair anyway. :D

So today, we brought Zyan to have his hair cut.
The Manduca comes in handy again.

While Karinna carried him in the manduca baby carrier, it took him just a while to fall asleep as we walk to the malay barber nearby.
Here is the photo where Zyan was passed back to me before the hair cut.

Then it's time. The barber is ready for him, and the action starts.

All these were taken with the help of Zyan's ever-energetic mother. :)

Throughout the whole hair-cut, he's fully well-slept.
That is good. If not, I am sure I would have earful of music. hehehe

After that, we went to Tampines One for a walk. Karinna wanted to buy some things, but in the end, didn't.
Good. hahaha
Then we took a rest at Subway. Needed some drinks and rest.
Zyan was still sleeping when I bought the drink, and it's probably about 10-15 minutes at Subway that he woke up.
He even smiled at the guy next to our table. He's just so smiley.

So here's Zyan and mommy at Tampines1-Subway.

Now you can see the botak awaken Zyan. :)

Long Weekend

It's been a long weekend.
Hari Raya Puasa on Friday, then the weekend comes along.
3 days of non-working days.

So how was the long weekend? :P

Of course, ever since 22 February, life has been centered around Zyan.
He's the centre of all attractions. :D

So last Friday, we went to Novena area. Square2 to be exact. Brought Zyan, as well as mother-in-law along too.
We needed to buy a baby sling. Zyan is getting heavy. It's not easy to carry him without a good sling.
The hands-me-down of Bjorn baby carrier is ok, but it's putting all the weight on the shoulders, and that can be very tiring if needed to carry for a LONG while.
Karinna's friend suggested this Manduca baby carrier, which puts the weight to the hip area. Thus, we went there to try, and in the end, bought it.
We bought the brown colour one. :D

We only recently put up the baby seat in the car, although it has been in our possession for more than 6 months.
It's finally put to use as well.

On Saturday, we wanted to buy some stuff to put in the car, so as to keep the little boy entertained sometimes, and perhaps a mirror to keep a watch on him.
We drove all the way to IMM to walk around.
First time we brought the stroller out with Zyan.
Not so bad.
See the little rascal showing me his socks while in Daiso.

Today, went to visit my parents.
Zyan fell asleep while on the way there, and slept for about 45 minutes.
After that, it's time for him to get the attention from the grandparents again.
He must be feeling like some superstar at this phase of life. ehehehe

At the end of the visit, we drove to White Sands. White Sands is also the first place where Zyan so-called went for outing.
Reason why we went there is simply because it is nearer, probably less crowded, and has air-con! :P Damn hot weather these days.

He's usually quite a good boy when we bring him out.
He cries a little more when he wants to sleep.
So far so good.

Then we went to the NTUC there, bought some groceries and blahblahblah, then went back home.
Karinna made Zyan some spinach vegetable as part of his dinner feed.
See how little Zyan eats.

It must have been very very tasty.
