Karinna's friend, Hsu Wei, had some event there, and needed a pair of father and son as participant.
I was volunteered with Zyan. :D
We reached there about 10am. Played some of the booth games, and then met up with Hsu Wei.
Didn't know exactly what we are into, but I did a search on the web yesterday, and knew there were some 'slime' games.
Slimey!
There were 6 pairs of participants.
It is called the Nickelodeon Dad's Challenge.
Basically, have to complete 6 tasks. They will give a clue to start, and then at the end of each task, will be given another clue to continue, until finish.
Each task will be given maximum 3 stamps, depending on performance.
Winners will be based on performance as well as speed.
Zyan and I started with Pit Stop #6.
It is just to take a picture at SingTel booth, putting both of our faces into a circle board frame bearing MioTV sign. Simple.
Then we ran to Pit Stop #1.
On the way, Zyan fell down. Not serious, just a slight trip. :P
This stop was to do puzzle. Those 20-30 pieces type. We took close to a minute to fix it. Got 1 stamp for it.
Then it's time for Pit Stop #2.
Both of us have to wear a helmet with a container on top of it.
I have to scoop water out from a huge container, pass the water from my helmet to Zyan's helmet, and he will have to pour the water down to another huge container. Need to do 3 scoops I think.
So naturally, we both got a little wet from head to half upper body.
How nice.
Think we had 2 stamps from there.
Next. Pit Stop #3.
Slimey.
Have to transfer 5 balloons from 1 end, to a seat, place the balloon on the seat, and burst the balloon while sitting on it.
Have to put the balloon in between thigh to go to the seat, and obviously can only do 1 at a time, and father and son have to take turn.
Of course, I will have to do 3 times then.
And best of all, the seats were already slimey, and the balloons have slime in them as well.
If I remember well, we got 2 stamps for this.
Pit Stop #4.
Have to go under a pole with 3 different heights, bending body backward while walking under.
Just that it was done with water underneath. So if you fall, you'll be wet.
First height, no problem.
Second height, still ok.
Third height, lowest of them all. Definitely no issue for Zyan. But poor me!
Dunno how I managed to bend lah. Somehow manage to scrimp through!
3 stamps! Yoohoo!
Pit Stop #5. Last station.
Mathematics. They give 3 maths questions. Father answers. Son throws balls into relevant numbered pail.
My maths still not so bad. And Zyan pretty much co-operative in throwing the balls, and of course, the crew are not exactly too strict with kids throwing to moving closer to throw the balls. Hahaha.
Should be 3 stamps.
Raced back to the finishing point.
We were the second team back at the line.
Felt quite dirty, and a little tired by the end of it. :P
It wasn't until about 12+ then the winner was annouced.
The Slime Cup medal, plus some other winning goodies.
Well done son!

As a reward, he got his McDonald lunch.
