Account Hacked?

Think my yahoo account has been compromised. If indeed so, mainly my fault, the password was pretty weak.
Have not been able to login into staykc_fun for the past 2 days. :P

Not exactly sure if it has indeed been compromised, but I receive a mail from yahoo saying that I had changed password on 28 Jun, which I don't remember doing so.

Oh well. Now report to yahoo to see how it goes.

The Forgettable

Originally had not wanted to go office, thought of clearing some of the mess at home.

Anyway, in the end went office, more to help a colleague to some scanning work. Also, had a call from partner to assist a client to get Web Reporting enabled.

So went down to customer site to check on the configuration for web reporting. The guy who did the configuration on Enterprise Portal had left some steps undone. So I merely continued it.
Of course, it has to work! hehehe

After that went home. Before reaching home, receive a SMS from my brother saying that my mother has been admitted to Changi General Hospital. oooooooooh.

So went to the hospital after settling some stuff at home. Reached there about 7pm. Don't know what bed she is supposed to be, so just go to the ward look look. Of course can find her.

Apparently, she went to polyclinic see doctor. After some checking, and blood tests, the doctor referred her to hospital to do further checkup, due to liver and high cholesterol issues.
So when the doctor and nurse at CGH asked what was the original problem that prompted the visit to polyclinic, guess what? My mom said she forgot!!!
D'uh!

Anyway, everything looks quite ok, observation should be necessary as a precaution.
So left the hospital past 9pm.

Went home cook the ST-style maggie mee.
Sedap!

Tomorrow should be a little busy day. hmmmm

Tired.

Yesterday night when I was sound asleep, it rain. It rained heavy meows and woofs!
So it rains, the dogs will always be scared, and make noises.
So being the nice owner, I slept in the living room, accompanying the useless dogs. As long as they see someone around, they won't make that much noise anymore, that is, less scared.

So woke up pretty early, about 6:15 I think.

Not really a major issue, as I usually wake up at 6+am too.

In the evening, Karinna wanted to go exercise. She is very much inspired by my meowmeow friend, who seem to have lost some weight, and keep to a regiment of doing exercise.
So there we are, all geared to a new lease of life! hahaha

So went jogging at around 9+pm, just a short run. Probably less than 1.5km.

And then, tired lor. Damn tired lor. hehehe
Maybe tomorrow legs will start feeling some pain. :P

Transports

It's Sunday. Had to wake up early today. Now it's 7am.

One of the customers have some activities going on over the weekend. They are transporting their development work into their production system, and they needed support to help them monitor the progress of the transports.

So here I am, waking up early to take over from them for the monitoring part. It should be quite easy. Anyway, my guys will do the monitoring, and I will let them know of any special portion after I have the concall with the client. Should not be anything major I guess.

After that, maybe I should go back and sleep.

BBQ

Just came back from BBQ at Sook Fun's place. Although it was only suggested to have this BBQ about 2 weeks back, it is quite good that she managed to get almost everything ready by herself.

So who were there? Wei Lee, Siang Chuan, Sock Leng, Kheng Siang were there as well.
And Kheng Siang made a rare appearance. Cool.
And plus their kids, which is about 9 or 10 of them!

Wah. Time flies man. I feel so young without kid. These friends of mine are the old aunties and uncles. hehehe

I had wanted to bring my digital camera there, but I forgot when I left my home. So no photos from me, but there should be some appearing on Sook Fun's blog, when she make the effort to load up the next time.

And then hor, Wei Lee's family is basically vegetarian. Erh, not much food for them there leh. So they have to leave earlier for a more decent dinner.

Anyway, we left the place around 9+, felt my tummy had expand a few more inches also.

Maybe the next time should make a bigger kind of gathering, but hey, nowadays it's really not easy to get old friends to get together. It takes a hell of an effort to get even a few sometimes.

Birthday Treat

Today had our dinner at Big Ben Place again.
Surprisingly, it was quite crowded today. The place was noisy actually, compared to the previous times when we went there, which was almost like desserted.

Anyway, I ordered fish and chips, while Karinna got her chicken chop. Her chicken must have been pretty active for the chef to catch hold. Took quite a long while before it appears on the table as food.

To end it all, we ordered another pie to eat, with mash potatoes. The mash potatoes taste pretty good. Think there's egg and bacon bits in it, which add some special flavour to it I guess.

Father's Day

Ah yes. Everyone knows it's father's day today.
It has been such a hype that people are celebrating all kinds of days every now and then.
It's alright, it's at least some form of ways to keep family members closer together.

So we had some food (more like lots of food). I bought Sakae Sushi & Pelican Pizza back as my form of contribution. Feel broke after that siah. hehehe
Then still got the usual bee hoon, curry. Also had some duck meat there, satay, coleslaw, o-tah blahblahblah.

So in order to maintain my cute size, I eat. And I eat. And I still eat.
Eat until so full that we basically skip our dinner. *wink*

But today not so great for me. I've been on standby duty for support work for the past few weeks. Not that I am complaining. It's work afterall. So there is some minor problem, which my guy cannot really settle lah. Don't wanna go into too technical info. Who wants to know about VPN anyway. *bleah*
Anyway, should be more or less resolved now, guess have to see if tomorrow the problem still exists. At least, it was working fine for me already.

My scary cat Precious, although useless as in everything also scared (scared of me the most lah), is pretty intelligent.

Was having my dose of this week's Deal Or No Deal.

Well, the participant gotten herself a whopping $23,000. Not bad, considering it's $$$ drop from the sky.

At the end of the show, as usual, there are special thanks to people who make the show possible.

You know, when we watch James Bond shows, the Bond Girl will always have some limelight. Similarly, when we watch Deal Or No Deal now, the 26 ladies have their small fair share of limelight. At least during the show.

Probably the picture will not come out very clear.

I knew I have seen it before, but only recently got hold of it when was at my uncle's house when my grandma passed away few weeks back.

Solution Manager

Nope. This is not a position for job. This is a product from the wonderful SAP that is supposedly great for monitoring and maintaining the SAP systems.

Wonderful because I am still wondering what so good about it. :D

Took me almost 3 days to configure the system to enable downloads of patches for SAP systems. 3 days of course including the time whereby I do nothing lah. :)

Need to get my OSS connection to work, need to configure the maintenance optimizer to work correctly, especially with the damn S-User and RFC user thingy.
In the end, anyhow hantam, don't know why kena!
Shall not bore people with technical stuff.

So there it is, can download patches for SAP systems liow.
This product is really a pain.

Shrek 3

Went to watch Shrek3 today.
Karinna's company has an event for the employees to watch the show at $2 each. Door gift provided too! Had lucky draw too, but we didn't win.
Door gift was a laptop bag (got a lot at home already), and some water bottles. Preety good ones, not some kooching koorak kind.

The show was not bad. We hadn't been to cinema for few years liow. Can't even remember what is the last movie we watched at cinema. Oh well!
Also, I never watch Shrek or Shrek2 before. Shrek3 is quite funny, and of course, it is not just cartoon show only. It does convey some slightly more serious message too.

Well, it's a good family show to bring kids around. Whether appeal to teenagers or not, I am not so sure.

Before the show, they have trailers. Saw this show "Underdog". Seems like damn funny show. We'll see if we will watch that as well. :D

Suddenly biting a piece that somehow cannot break at all. Spit it out, and there it is! The stone in the pic! How exciting.

Was presented with some error for doing transport. Sigh. No idea what the hell is wrong with it.

Doesn't seem very logical to have such error, and communications between emails and phone calls do not seem to help much.

Have to go down to customer site later to see if can resolve that or not.

Precious Sapphire

Well, it's high time to put these 2 kids up here.

The grey one is Precious, a scary cat. The black one is Sapphire, a lazy pig.
Precious should be 6 years old already, and Sapphire is 4 years old.

Guess which one I like better? :D

Campus Superstar II

Didn't really watch the show. Reach home already 8+pm.

Took shower and get ready for conference call at 10pm, which is about 10 minutes from now as I am writing.

Only watch the last bit of the show. Saw the youngest contestant, Shawn. Not bad, for his young age. Apparently has an advantage being the youngest and smallest in size among all contestants, females included. :P

Cute thing is, at the end of the show, this Shawn ran over to the females side, and hug hug hug around. hehehe
I also going to join! Live the Dream!

Freewares

Added a new link-area (Useful Freeware Links)to perhaps help people who are not so tech-savvy to use alternative softwares which are perfect legal, and free (for personal use). Some can possibly be free for commercial use as well, such as OpenOffice and 7-zip.

If you want everything to be free, it's possible. But for people who are not so IT-savvy, switching to Linux can possibly become a problem as well. So for Operating System freeware, shall not be putting up the link here.

Hopefully it can be of help, and reduce your cost, and keep you system with legal software!

Will add more as I go along, or if anyone has a need for something, feel free to leave some trace, and will see if such free and legal software available for use.

Bloggers Unite!

Was figuring almost whole day to try to resolve some minor issue with work. Wanted to create some automated process, but somehow it didn't work well.

Came up with another solution, still under testing, not sure if it works at all. System was pretty slow at the moment, probably due to having some backup process running.

So in the meantime, was running in and out of the room, watching TV, and checking my computer.

Then saw a mail. At first glance I blur siah. Don't know who the heow is that. Naggy 1 somemore! Then read the content a bit, then my smart brain tells me it's that niece of mine.

So I also kaypoh go to her blog. Didn't know she has one too. Then realise another niece of mine also got blog! Wah seh. I think blog must be something that is too common to students nowadays.
I myself was even contemplating whether wanna blog or not. Till now, also dunno why I started it. :D

Oh well. May the blog be with you.

Green Bean

Karinna was home yesterday, working from home.

So I told her to use the green beans in the fridge and make soup. And specifically told her to add 年糕 into it. It would taste good you know!?!?! :)

So I came home hungry, didn't had much lunch. Just ate some vege-bun from the canteen that's all. So ate 2 bowls of the heart-warming soup. hehehe
Ok lah, not so bad lah.

Left a little bit more, kept it just for simple breakfast this morning. Just had my small share of it earlier.

So long ...

Yesterday finally sent my grandma off the last time.

As with traditional chinese customary, some ritual was conducted just before moving the coffin out. There wasn't a lot of other friends/relatives there. Maybe it's because most of her friends would have been gone already as well?
She's already 92 after all.

The coffin was sent to Mandai for cremation. Nowadays not so bad, at least when you see the coffin being pushed out of your sight, you don't see it being burnt yet. Unlike in the old days at Mount Vernon, as soon as the coffin was pushed, you can see the fire gushing out ferociously, burning the relative in the coffin. Ouch ouch!

After all had been settled, we all went to this HengHua restaurant for lunch. Rather, lunch cum dinner cum supper. One of my uncles ordered so much food, and probably everyone ate until so full that you can almost vomit.
Come to think of it, I have not eaten HengHua food for a long time. Same goes with my direct family of course.
Pretty good, the food is actually pretty good.
