Korea Day5

20 Oct, Day 5

I woke up early, as usual.
Seeing from our accommodation, the sunrise scenery looks nice.
Went out to take some pictures. Cool.

First, we made our way to Jeongbang Waterfall.
This wasn’t in my original travel plan; it was suggested from some trip advisor app or something.
It’s quite near to where we were staying, and it’s also on the way to the Tea Museum (also not part of original plan).

It’s not a huge waterfall. Still, not advisable to go into the water to the waterfall. Anyway, water and I are not exactly close friends. Think with Karinna and Zyan also the same.
Probably Zyan will fare better as water’s friend. 😛

Of course, with the various sizes of the rocks in the area, Mrs Tay did have a challenging time to manoeuvre the place. Which leg to use for the next step will need some thinking process. HAHAHA
Still, she managed to walk to where she can move to, and it’s not too bad already. 😊

Thirsty?

Didn’t take a long time to finish this place.
Took a little break when exiting the place and enjoyed some ice cream. Nice.

Then we moved next to Seogwipo Olle Market to wander around and planning to have lunch there before going to the tea museum.
It’s like the market I see on Korean Variety shows. It has all kinds of things in the market. Can’t run away from some street food kind of things.
And Mrs Tay cannot resist and bought some. Wasn’t great, was ok though.

Don’t think we bought anything specific there, but we had lunch at one of the fast-food restaurants outside the market.
Figured it was time to leave for the tea museum, another almost an hour drive.

Why tea museum? Coz Karinna wanted to get something for some people.
Could be a nice thing to give, especially if they drink tea.
Took some pictures around the place, then Karinna went to look for things to buy.
Apparently, the main tea place is at another building (which I do not know where even now actually), and she walked some distance there to buy the things. I guessed the queue is probably a bit long as well.
So, we waited for quite a bit, in the meantime, I had some drink ordered. Nice, but forgot what I had. :P

When she came back, it was time to leave for Nanta Show. The show was at 5pm. It’s about 1.5hrs show. And the drive from the museum, another 1 hours.
There was some slight heavy traffic on the way, but we still managed to reach the Nanta Show place around 4.40pm or so.
Went to exchange the ticket with the show vouchers I purchased from Klook. Smooth process.

Show was quite to watch, doesn’t really need to know Korean to watch the show.
There’s also a Nanta Show location in Myeongdong, but we chose to watch in Jeju. 😊
Worth watching? I would say yes.
Show about to start ...

When it finished, what do we do?
Yes, dinner time!
Then we headed to Black Pork Street to eat BBQ Black Pork. :P
Nice sizzling pork meat, eat until shiok shiok.
In many of these food restaurants that we went to, we can easily hear from Singapore accents from some of the people around us.
People are indeed travelling, that means us too!

Well, it’s the last night in Jeju, we have to go back to get packing done to fly back to Seoul the next day.
The drive back to Airbnb is a little more challenging, as some parts of the road are really dark.
Safe driving is important, and at dark places, even more so!
