Walk Learning

Last weekend didn't go back to visit my parents, coz not free. :P

So this week die die also must go. Have to give my mother some allowance as well.
Anyway, nowadays I try to visit them every week if possible.

Today, only Casper was around. Cedric and Crystal went to the other grandparents' place.
Casper finally learnt to sit properly, and managed to walk around a little today, with the help of some tools.


Cool huh? Actually, he did walk quite a fair bit, I only took the picture for a short while.
Should have taken a better video. :D

Then when he was sleeping, I went to steal a picture off him.
His eye-lashes actually quite long.

Medic! Help!

Karinna had some busy medical day today.

Morning went SGH to have some scan done. At least result is "No Deep Vein Thrombosis", so it is good.
I didn't accompany her, as I have some tasks to be done at project site.

After lunch, went over to another project site. Goodness, that damn basis guy don't know did what yesterday, make the system problematic for us. Configurations were not able to be brought into the 'going-live-this-weekend' system.
Took me and Herman some troubleshooting to enable some of the configurations active in the system. Painful process.
Couldn't stay too late, as Karinna had another appointment to have a second opinion on her knee problem.

So left the site, and went over to Novena to look for her.

I only know she went to consult Dr Benedict Tan, the ex-national sailing athelete.

As I reached Novena, I saw a new building Novena Medical Centre, then I figured it must be there. I just went to the building, tried looking for Clinic related to Dr Benedict Tan.
Bingo. Then I found her.

At least this Dr Tan not so bad, didn't just advise to do operation.
A more progressive approach would be taken to see if her knee problem can be corrected, possibly with physio, then some injection to reduce the impact of cartilage friction. If nothing helps, cut her knee.

Sounds good? Cool.

Big Day

Today is my Big Day.
We had some $20 voucher at this place called Big-O at Wheelock Place.

My significant other 'treated' me lunch at Sakae Sushi. I paid.
Then went Borders, and walked around Isetan at Lido there. Bought some Japanese beers. I paid.

Karinna bought quite a number of books from Borders. She loves to read. I don't.

Then legs tired, we went to Big-O around 2+pm probably.

So we ordered some drinks, and a slice of cake. Simply to make use of the vouchers which will expire at end of this month.



Just no candles that's all. hehehe

Anyway, after that, went to my sister's home. Karinna got my niece to order some bags from internet, and we were going there to collect the bags.
Then it's time to go home.

hehehe. Sounds like I have nothing today huh?
Then again, I have my wife around me. That's good enough for a simple man like me.
Simple Simon. :D

Kung Fu

Interesting to get ticket from AXS Station.

It's a damn funny show. Good entertainment.
Kids will love it. The rest will have a good laugh at it.
Don't think there's much pandemonium in the show, but it's a good play on the word.

Actually, buying the ticket from internet, it also allow you to buy those popcorn combo meal together with the ticket.
Hmmmmm ..., can collect that from AXS Station also??!?!?! :P

Movie Ticket

Haven't gone to cinema see show for quite a few years already.

Think the last time we went to watch a move was "Ghost Ship??" at Lido there. Don't know when also. :D Cannot even remember!


Just now went online to book for movie tickets for "Kung Fu Panda", and oh boy! It costs $10 per ticket!
Booking fee is $1, so total was $21 for the movie.
Expensive huh?!?!?!?!?!

Everything also increase price! ka na sai!

Booking through internet is always so convenient. But later collect ticket don't know will have long queue or not. It's 10pm show, should be ok huh?!?!

Still Photography

Monday morning, while getting in my car to go for work, I noticed something on the top of my car. I spotted it, and ignored it.

So off I went, sent Karinna to office, then went to office to settle some administrative stuff. When I got off my car, that something was still lingering on my car-top.


Can you see what that is?
So smart. It's a fly that loves my car so much that just simply won't go away even after travelling like 20km.

Again, I ignored it, went to a customer site at Harbour Front. Then I parked my car.
Ta-dah!!!!!!!!!!

I wonder how it got stucked on my car. I'm sure I didn't put any glue on my car. :P

My car was pretty dirty, and yesterday didn't had a chance to go and wash my car.
Today had wanted to, but also no time, until evening. But then, a heavy downpour in the afternoon managed to clean a little of my dirty old car.

It's not looking very clean, but definitely ok for sometime.
But then, the defiant fly is gone ... ...
