It's Meet Parent Session. :P
Every year, there are 2 Meet-Parents-Session from Zyan's school. One at mid-year, another at end of year.
We booked our slot at about 1040hrs.
First, it was with the English teacher. Generally, Zyan is coping well academically. He's also willing to help his other classmates with things he already know, which is good.
He's also able to do some mathematics without using tools. Wow! So pleased to hear right? Can save the money for sending him to abacus classes. :P
Only one thing that bothers the teacher a lot. It's his temper. He has a fixed idea of things to do. If something is not done to what he knew, he will make a big fuss out of it.
Example, if you put things at a particular location most of the time, and it happens that at times you put at convenient place, this Zyan will keep harping at you to put at the 'correct' place. And sometimes he can get very angry over such little things. Can be a cry baby at times over these too.
Alamak!
When he is angry, he tends to clench both his fists hard, and his whole body will become very stiff. Plus his face will look like having fumes coming out of his head.
Sometimes it can be quite scary.
It has become a little bit better, but I think more can be done.
Hmmmm
Then, we talked to the Chinese language teacher.
Again, he is able to read and converse well, so the teacher is not having problem to getting him understanding the lessons. Very good.
Again, comment from teacher is the same. His temperament at times can be, hmmm, hmmm ....
Sigh.
Now, what should we do?
Same comment. :P
Any class to address anger management for little kids? :P
Must show him more TLC liow.
