Walk For Rice

There's an event coming up next Saturday, 15 Nov 2014.
It's called Walk For Rice.

It's a fund raising event, organised by Kembangan-CC AAC with Eunosvill and Telok Kurau North Neighbourhood Committee. For every 200 metres distance walked, 1 bowl of white and brown rice will be donated to the needy residents.
You walk. The needy residents benefit. Good deal or great deal?

If you like to exercise or do brisk walking, why not put that into a good cause and help the community?

The date has been fixed on 15 November 2014 (Saturday), from 0830hrs to 1200hrs. It's about 3km of walk from Marina Bay Sands to Gardens By The Bay, and back.
There will be pick-up point at either Kampong Ubi or Kembangan CC to bring participants to the starting point.

It costs only $2 to join this event, and you will get light breakfast & lunch, plus the 2-way transport from the pick-up point.
