Pork Floss Rolls

Yesterday, our friend Georgina and her husband Eugene came by our house to eat lunch.
Ahhh. No lah, not just here to eat lah.

Basically, she and Karinna wanted to do home-made 爱心 pork floss rolls. So challenging right?

So the night before, we went to buy some pohpiah skin, and Georgina brought 2 boxes of pork floss as the main ingredient.

The action started a little after lunch, maybe around 1.15-1.30, doesn't really matter right?
So the 2 ladies take change of rolling the rolls, while I am the one peel the skins layer by layer for them to use.
As for Eugene, quickly ran off after lunch, then no need to be engaged as cheap labour. hehehehe. Nah, he had something on to attend to.

It's not really difficult to do it, just tedious, and perhaps tiring at some point of time.
Here's the 2 ladies in action, plus a dog that wanted to steal a bit of limelight:

The raw pork floss rolls before being deep fried.

In the end, they made about 600+ rolls.

Due to time constraint, didn't deep fry them yesterday.
We had a steamboat dinner at Karinna's cousin home around 7pm, so the pork floss rolls were done finished arount 5.30pm.
Just nice to freshen up a bit and getting ready for steamboat dinner.

Ate until full like mad, plus the first Yu-Sheng taken, although not CNY yet.

This morning, we needed to go out to do something, and when we came back around lunch time (about an hour ago), the prawn rolls are done and ready for consumption!
Ta-dah!!!!

Hmmm. Next question you want to ask: Nice or not?

Come and try. *stupid smile*
